Daniel Edmonds-WATERS
Dan is a seasoned consultant recognized for his expertise developing strategy, driving growth and executing transformational change. He leverages his knowledge from the healthcare arena where he spent almost 20 years as an executive at healthcare giant Kaiser Permanente. He held VP-level leadership positions in sales operations and multiple national shared services operations, as well as Chief of Staff to the President and CEO. Cross cutting these responsibilities, Dan also managed programs to drive the agenda on diversity, equity and inclusion across Kaiser.
In recent years, Dan has focused on advising executives of health tech start-ups in the go-to-market space, as well as helping mission-based and academic institutions to develop and implement health-tech innovation and diversity strategy.
He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Residency, holds a Master’s in Health Services Management and Policy from the University of Michigan, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in the Sociology of Medicine, Healthcare and Population Studies.
Kristin M. Edmonds
Kristin is a research consultant who is expert in identifying and communicating market opportunities and client challenges. Her background in writing and editing supports our efforts to create a voice for our executives and express strategies. Kristin helps our clients understand their current context and articulate a path forward.
With our clients, Kristin often serves as the engagement manager, coordinating project timelines and workflow, producing deliverables, and interviewing clients. Kristin is the driver of our research agenda when we conduct external benchmarking and field interviews with and for corporate clients.
Kristin has spent 25 years working in publishing in production, editing and writing roles. She holds a master’s degree in American Studies from the College of William & Mary and a bachelor’s degree in American Culture from the University of Michigan.

Throughout his career, he has consistently met corporate objectives by developing and implementing robust HR strategies, providing strategic HR guidance, and demonstrating exceptional executive leadership. As a dynamic and insights-driven executive, Chris brings profound expertise in human capital stewardship, talent development and coaching, employee engagement, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Chris has a proven track record of driving organizational growth, optimizing talent management, and fostering a high-performance culture. By leveraging his solid expertise in human resources strategy, DEI, and world-class employee engagement, Chris is able to unlock the full potential of organizations.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. He holds a master’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco.
